With so many protein powders available, people can make protein shakes at any point in the day and make it taste the way they want it. Shakes can be made with water, skim milk, fruits, vegetables, and many other things that you can find in your refrigerator or pantry. Protein shakes can be made as a breakfast item or they can be made in the middle of the day during a lull. Either way, these three recipes are sure to leave you energized.
Coffee Cream Shake
Ingredients 2 cups of skim milk
1 scoop of chocolate protein powder
¼ cup of nuts (your choice)
1 banana
2 tsp of instant coffee
What a better way to start the day than with a shake and coffee. Blend all these ingredients together and add ice if you like it extra thick. For those who particular enjoy strongly coffee, you can subtitute one of the cups of skim milk with cooled down coffee. Muscle Building Recipes
Berry Mash 2 cups of skim milk
1 scoop of berry-flavored protein powder
1 scoop of mixed berries (makes no difference which ones)
1 banana (if desired)
½ cup of ice
This a popular item in the summer time as a dessert. It's smooth, cold and creamy, which makes it a delight in the summer heat.
Chai Tea Shake 2 cups of water
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
2 tbsp of cinnamon powder
2 tsp of instant tea
½ cup of ice
