Any normal person would love to know how to build big muscles because of the appreciative reactions they draw from others. It's really very easy to achieve a beefy look if you just found out how to build big muscles.

The most important thing for building big muscles is strength training. There is no way around this as this is the only natural way you can push your muscles beyond their comfort zone. Weight lifting and body weight exercises work best for this. If you are doing weight lifting start with an empty bar and keep adding weights each work out session. Do a lot of calisthenics as well. Here too you should increase the difficulty level with each session, adding weights if necessary.

It is best to do full body workouts, but you could start with compound exercises. The purpose of this is to work groups of muscles at the same time rather than focusing on any one muscle.

You need a proper recovery period in between workouts, particularly if you are a beginner. This gives your muscles time to rest and to build themselves up before the next workout. You can decrease the recovery period only once you have built up your muscles a bit. You should not do more than three full body work outs in a week if you are a beginner. Build Big Muscle

The best rest you can get is obviously when you are asleep. Your body releases growth hormones while you sleep and this helps build muscle. People in a hurry to build muscles take injections of the human growth hormone which is banned. You can achieve this for free just by sleeping for eight hours a day.

You also need to have the correct diet if you want to build big muscles. Eat a well balanced diet containing whole foods and avoiding excess fats, empty carbohydrates and sugars. You need to eat vegetables and fruits for the vitamins and enzymes they contain. Your food intake has to increase and it would be better to switch to six small meals everyday so that your muscles get a steady supply of nutrition.

Measure yourself periodically so that you can keep track of your progress. You also need to monitor your weight to ensure that you are not putting on fat instead of the muscle you are aiming for.
