Getting Fit: 24 Hours a Day

It is no secret that our lives are busier than ever before. Between work and home obligations we find that there is rarely any time left for taking of ourselves. Unfortunately, that lack of time usually is reflected in our waist lines. We eat fast food or snacks because we don't have time to sit down and enjoy a family meal; the take-out counter is the closest thing many of us have to cooking skills. If there was only more time in a day, we say, and then we would work out more to lose that extra weight. Thanks to 24 Hour fitness, now there is.

24 Hour fitness is a traditional health club with locations around the club. 24 Hour fitness was founded in 1983 with the goal of making it easy for people on the go to work out by giving them the ultimate choice of choosing when to work out, even if it was in the middle of the night. Today, there are more than 340 locations around the world offering the opportunity of better health to countless thousands no matter what their working schedule.

We all know that in order to lose weight we must exercise and get our bodies moving. Unfortunately for many of us our jobs and lifestyles do not make it possible. We always say we will get up a little earlier to be at the gym when it opens at 6am only to end up hitting the snooze button until we are nearly late for work. Then we promise ourselves we'll make it to the fitness club by 6pm when they close only to find ourselves still at our desks tolling away come 7pm. Our health club memberships sit idly by as we struggle to find more hours in the day.

24hr fitness saw this problem and set out to do something about it. Why should people have to beat the clock in order to work out? Wouldn't it be smarter to be open when people are available to come and work out? But what time would that be? Everyone has different schedules and what works for one person won't work for the fifty others looking to get fit. So 24 Hour fitness threw away the front door locks and declared that anytime was the perfect time for fitness.

If your lifestyle means that 2am grocery shopping trips are the norm, or you find yourself awake at 11pm wishing you could use that down time for something productive check out 24 Hour fitness and take the first step towards a healthier you.

And, oh yeah, one other thing... leave the watch at home.
