XLIV Superbowl Predictions
The location is Miami Gardens, Florida the site of the 44th annual NFL Superbowl. What two teams will be in Miami? What are the superbowl odds for the top teams in contention? With only a few weeks left in the regular season the AFC and NFC teams are scrambling for those last wins to try to strengthen their leads or get a chance for a wildcard playoff position.

The NFC top teams are New Orleans Saints with a 13:1 record. They recently lost to the Dallas Cowboys so they have clinched their division, but they still as yet aren't certain of home field advantage for playoffs. For each team every opportunity is needed to help them win. The team that is currently running them down is the Minnesota Vikings. This is Brett Favre's first year with this team. He has done wonders in getting them in a playoff position. They have earned their wildcard spot under the NFC North.

The other teams that aren't as close but still fighting to stay alive are the Arizona Cardinals with a 9:5 record, the Philadelphia Eagles (10:4), and Dallas Cowboys (9:5). As we've seen with the New Orleans lost to the Cowboys it is anybody's game. Any teams that were a sure thing may not be. If any of these want a spot they will have to earn their place.

The AFC has one team that stands out head and shoulders above the rest. Peyton Manning has come back from this year after having surgery in the previous season looking like the player that takes no prisoners. With fourteen wins and no losses they are the team to beat. They have clinched their division, homefield advantage, and first round bye as well.

The New England Patriots and the San Diego Chargers are the two other teams in the AFC that show potential. The Chargers have clinched a wild card spot with their 11:3 record. The Patriots have a 9:5 record with their recent win. Tom Brady was out all last season with his injury and has something to prove with his return. They are only the second team to have a perfect season after the Miami Dolphins of the 1972 season. And they've won numerous championships so they know what it will take to win to they aren't a team to be underestimated.

This is one Superbowl that you don't want to miss. The fact that many of the wildcard teams are too close to determine will have you glued to the television just to find the outcome. There were many records broken by Peyton Manning, Brett Favre, and Tom Brady this year as quarterback players that have beaten all teams in the NFL. This is the first time that this has occurred. Who knows what other records might be smashed? Will Peyton Manning pull his team to a perfect season and a superbowl win as well? You'll have to tune it to find out.
